MCTC’s four-day Charity Cycling Tour concluded on Sunday 4 October 2026 and raised EUR 40,000 for the “Little Heroes” Association in their fight against childhood cancer. Cyclists representing the maritime industry from Cyprus and Germany rode from Limassol across the island and back, and the whole journey is now in our video.

Four days across Cyprus
From Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 October 2026, our riders covered a full loop of the island, from the coast to the Troodos mountains and back to the sea. The tour was announced in September with a single target: EUR 40,000 for the “Little Heroes” Association.
- Day 1: The tour set off from Limassol Molos, passed Aphrodite’s Rock and arrived in Paphos.
- Day 2: The riders climbed Troodos through Cedar Valley and stayed overnight in the mountains.
- Day 3: A long descent from Troodos brought the group to Nicosia.
- Day 4: The final stage ran from Nicosia through Larnaca and Zygi to Limassol Old Port.
Each stage was a physical challenge, and each one was ridden for a single purpose: to support children and families facing cancer. The route linked Limassol, Paphos, the Troodos mountains, Nicosia and Larnaca, so that the tour passed through the island’s main cities and some of its most recognisable landscapes.
The group brought together cyclists representing the maritime industry from Cyprus and Germany. For an industry that depends on teamwork, partnership and perseverance, riding together for four days in support of a children’s charity felt like a natural fit.
The finale at Limassol Old Port
The tour ended with a grand finale on Sunday 4 October at 17:00 at Limassol Old Port. The celebration was open to the whole community and included the official presentation of the EUR 40,000 cheque to the “Little Heroes” Association.
Visitors could also stop at the Little Heroes information booth to learn more about the Association’s work, and there were creative activities for children throughout the event.
The finale marked the end of four days on the road and the start of what the funds will make possible for the Association. It was a moment to celebrate the riders, to recognise the work of the “Little Heroes” Association and to bring the community together around a cause that matters to all of us.
Thank you
This result belongs to everyone who made it possible. MCTC thanks the cyclists for their effort and commitment, the support team who stood behind them every kilometre, our sponsors for their generosity, and the public for turning out along the route and at the finish. Together, you have made a real difference for the “Little Heroes” Association and the children it serves.
We are proud of what this tour achieved and grateful to every person who rode, supported, donated or cheered. Watch the video above to relive the four days.
